so i get these awesome emails from groupon that inform me of the latest NY deals…and i guess today was BURGER day in ny.  :)  yum…and since my best friend and i were planning to have a staycation for a week before my leave…i thought…this is peeeeerfect!  i wanna try bare burger…it looks gooood!  ostrich meat??  i’m not so sure but…$12 for a $25 meal?!  yum…

but i found out that my best friend’s mom is in the hospital getting surgery.  :(  she just heard about her mom’s condition today….and they’re still waiting to see if the tumor that the doctors found is benign or malignant.  :(((  sad.  i hope my friend’s ok…i wish i could do something for her.  all i can do is pray…but i think that’s the best that anyone can do when one has no control over a situation. i pray she’s ok.
